Robert brings over 40 years’ experience in Dental and Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and, for the last 12 years, International experience in the field of Aesthetic Medicine.
“I graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1976 and worked for 8 years in the Hospital and National Health Services in London, Kent and Wales, including the establishment of several successful private Practices.
I studied general practitioner Orthodontics during this period before spending several years in the United States running an airline company and attending many courses and seminars in Oral Surgery.
In 1994, I undertook a partnership, and eventual succession, in a large multi discipline Practice in Germany, where my role was, primarily, in the field of Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
I spent the period 2000-2005, working in Southern Africa, in the Oral Surgery department of a hospital as well as part- time in a private Dental Practice.
I am an accredited provider of INVISALIGN orthodontic treatments.
During the last 20 years, I have undertaken advanced training in the use of Botulinum Toxin ( Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) and Dermal Fillers, not only for their therapeutic (medicinal) uses, but also for appearance medicine.
I am accredited by TC Aesthetic Academy in Harley Street, London and also by the Australasian Academy of Dento Facial Aesthetics (AADFA). I am admitted to the International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science, having interned in Seoul, Korea.
I am a trainer and lecturer in the MATA training academy of Aesthetic Medicine, awarding Level 7 diplomas to postgraduate students.
I hold professional memberships of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA), New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (NZACD), New Zealand Society for Sedation and Anaesthesia in Dentistry (NZSSAD) and the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ).
I have always had a keen interest in sport, playing representative Rugby, Cricket and Squash in a past life!”
Fara is an internationally recognised and published Medical Scientist who has recently been at the forefront of New Zealand’s fight against the Covid 19 Pandemic. She has over 6 years of International training in Aesthetics, Hair Transplant and Skin rejuvenation.
“I started my Tertiary education at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, obtaining my BSc (Hons) in 1995 and then embarked on my PhD, graduating in 2004 . My main dissertation focused on deciphering complexities associated with signal transduction in Basel Cell Carcinoma (BCC).
In 2006, I moved to New Zealand to join the Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland as an NRCGD research fellow, working on epigenetic regulation of human embryo implantation.
In 2008, I moved into the area of molecular diagnosis and was promoted to section leader at LabPLUS within Auckland Hospital- a position I held until my resignation, in 2021, to provide full time Aesthetic services to my patients.
During the last 12 months I have been at the forefront of the team managing the current COVID-19 pandemic and prior to that, a similar role, managing the Swine Flu pandemic, MERS and the ZIKA virus outbreaks.
I am a multi published author and a technical expert for International Accreditation New Zealand in the field of Medical Testing.
I was pivotal in establishing guidelines for HPV testing as a member of the National Screening Unit of the ministry of Health National Cervical Screening Program. I was also a committee member and representative for the New Zealand Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (NZIMLS) and of the National Cervical Pathology Training Service (NZPTS), to support the development, organisation and delivery of HPV training in New Zealand.
I served on the board of the New Zealand Dental Research Foundation, reviewing and allocating funding for research applications.
I have been, and am registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Board of New Zealand, since 2008.
My second career, and passion, as an Aesthetician started in 2005 and I have completed Diploma training in Appearance Medicine including, Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, All Platelet Rich (PRP) therapies. I have also achieved Diplomas in many advanced treatment therapies including PDO and PCL Threads, Hair Transplantation as well as being fully accredited on Medical Grade and IPL Lasers. I recently completed training on the Cooltech and Ulfit body sculpting machines as well as the Tesla Former body systems.
I am a trainer and lecturer for the Medical Aesthetic Training Academy (MATA), an Internationally recognised academic body and I am soon to complete my Masters Level Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine.
I have been operating my own Clinic, Glowry, since 2005 and am excited about the amalgamation with Robert and Wellington Cosmetic Clinic. We hope that the new Glowry Cosmetic Clinic will be privileged to look after your aesthetic and appearance needs.”
“I am a fully qualified beauty therapist and have been working in my chosen Profession for 8 years. I am passionate about delivering patients professional advice and advanced skin treatments in order to help achieve their skin and appearance goals.
I graduated from the Universal College of Learning in 2011 with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and since then have been trained in many advanced skin therapies including Medical Grade and IPL Lasers, Carbon laser, Dermal Needling, PRP Protocols, Ultrasound skin tightening and recently the clinic took delivery of the Cryomed Cooltech and Tesla Former body sculpting and fat freeze machines which I am now fully trained on.
I have been promoted to the role of Clinic manager within the Glowry organisation and I am looking forward to developing the portfolio of treatments and the quality of care that we all aspire to.
I love to make patients feel confident in their skin by performing advanced skin treatments on the face and body, providing professional skincare advice to achieve a youthful, healthy and radiant skin.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, friends and fur babies, reading, going to the gym and relaxing at the beach. I love food and enjoy baking yummy treats. I also love travelling and going on weekend adventures.”
Dr Tom Watcyn Jones works with some of the most renowned clinics on Harley Street.
Having worked as a plastic surgeon at St. Thomas’s Hospital in London, Harley Street Skin Clinic, Harley Medical Group, he now splits his time between his private clinics and his NHS commitments.
Dr Tom is an Associate Specialist in Urological Surgery and he is passionate about his NHS work. He brings his exceptional standards of patient care to his private clinics on London’s Harley Street and now Deansgate, Manchester.
It is Tom’s intention to move permanently to New Zealand at the completion of his consultancy training.
I’m Hema and I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist. I graduated from the Elite School of Beauty and Spa in 2009 and have been working in the beauty industry for over 10 years. I am currently working part time and studying towards my Bachelor of Nursing.
I am passionate about skincare and hair removal and enjoy working with clients to achieve their desired goals. I have experience in laser hair removal, red vein and pigment removal, dermal needling, laser tattoo removal and electrolysis, among others.
I’m happy to be joining the lovely team at Wellington Cosmetic Clinic and I look forward to meeting you all.

Aimee joins us as our part time senior Beauty Therapist, who has been working in the industry for the best part of 10 years.
Starting in the hairdressing industry in her home of Hawkes Bay, Aimee then went on to study and graduate from Elite International School of Beauty & Spa therapies in Wellington in 2010. From there she went on to work and manage a team of 5 at a specialised skin spa in Wellington central.
Aimee’s’ personal accomplishments include achieving her Honours level in Blend Epilation (CIBTAC) – the top of her class. She thrives on continuing her education and upskilling, thus making her a great new addition to our team.
Her passions include helping individuals understand how to take care of their skin and delivering first class treatments in salon – this shows in her exceptionally warm and caring nature – to whom nothing is a problem.
